Action Agenda |

 |
The Action Agenda is the six- to eight-year blueprint to transform Schering-Plough into a global, high-performance competitor for the long term. It is anchored on the principles of "new thinking, new capabilities and new urgency" -- the drivers of continuous renewal and reinvention.
Schering-Plough's Action Agenda, which was launched in 2003, is a six- to eight-year plan with five phases: Stabilize, Repair, Turnaround, Build the Base and Breakout. The first three phases are complete, and the company is now in the Build the Base phase. We are building the breadth and depth of our capabilities and extending our strength to new patients, new customers and new markets.
When the Action Agenda's fourth phase is completed, the company will enter the final part of its transformational journey. During Breakout, Schering-Plough will achieve continued superior performance and leadership in the pharmaceutical industry.
